The Old Tin Shed is delighted to have been awarded a grant from the Waimate District Council Creative Communities Scheme to put towards developing a Kids Art & Sculpture Trail in the paddock at The Old Tin Shed. This grant will allow us to create around 6 pieces, more funds are needed to build the ideal number of 12.

Each piece will be inspired by a New Zealand sculpture or artist and the trail will be open to the public as soon as it is complete.

Donations of materials are gratefully accepted. Items needed include wood, metal, paint, wire, wheels, plants, cement, sand, stones, shells, driftwood, and any materials that are natural and will add to the outside works.
